- Used to weld base metals of similar composition such as Stainless 201, 202, 205, 301, 302, 304, 305, 308 and as the low carbon grade

- 22% of Cr, 12% Nickel (Ni)
- Good for welding dissimilar steel like stainless 304 to mild steel
- Also good for joining different grade of Stainless steel like 409 to 304L
